2 Months Old

Ashlyn coo's a lot, lifts her head up really well, smiles, follows you with her eyes, and chews on her fist. She had her 2 month check up and weighs 9 lb 10 oz (18 percentile), she is 22 inches (42 percentile) and her head is 15 1/2 (64th percentile). She has a pretty big head =) She is so much fun and everyone just loves her. We celebrated St Pattie's day by all of us wearing green so we didn't get pinched. Ashlyn also went to daycare at the end of March and did really well. Everyone loves her there. It was rough on me but we love our daycare and the people working there are amazing. The kids did get pink eye and it was pretty hard to get rid of but we finally did and was able to go back to daycare.

1 Month Already

Time is going by way too fast.  Ashlyn is already a month old and I still haven't quite gotten into a groove with these two kidos. Ashlyn tries to hold her head up and is getting pretty good at it, she doesn't like to sleep in the bassinet at night and ends up sleeping on my chest after she eats. She eats about 2-3 ounces, sleeps a lot, she does not like having a dirty diaper and cries to let you know she needs it changed, and she loves to sleep all balled up.  It doesn't look comfy but she loves it.

Her belly button cord finally fell off and she loves having a normal bath.

20 Months and a Big Brother

Gage is 20 months and finally became a big brother. He says boat, car, cookie, and mamote for remote. He will go into our bedroom and get up on the bed and say mamote because he wants to watch Bubble Guppies his favorite show. He thinks his sister needs to have her binky all the time, says no a lot! He can open the door from the house to the garage and follows his dad everywhere. He will help me blow on his food if it is too hot, feeds the dogs way too much, blow kisses, LOVES holding his sister and helps hold her bottle when we are feeding her.  Went to the dentist for the 1st time and did good.  We were told we needed to take the binky away.  I'm not sure he is quite ready for this.

Gage at his daycare.  It was Talonie's (who is the adult in the picture) last day working at daycare.  She was a great person and the kids are going to miss her like crazy.

Gage at Daycare the day Ashlyn was born. He was having a great time and I never worried about him.  Even though it was my first time being away from him I knew he was in great hands.  I missed him like crazy!

I sure do love this kid and all his energy.  He Loves his binky and it sure is going to be hard to take it away from him.

1st Bath at home

It amazes me how much you forget after having a baby.  I felt like I was a first time mom again when it came to giving Ashlyn her bath. Plus with her being a girl it was a whole new experience, but we made it through.  She wasn't excited about it at first but the warm water calmed her down.

We all survived the bath and can't wait for her belly button to fall off so we can have normal baths =)
