1st Cereal and Loving It

Ashlyn had her first taste of cereal at age 5 months and she wasn't too happy with the cereal.  We tried mixing it with lots of things and she did not like it.  We gave her applesauce and she liked that much better. Gage loved feeding her and got most of it in her mouth. We will need to work on his feeding skills a little more. 

My baby is 5 months old!

Ashlyn loves to put everything in her mouth, likes to chew on her binky instead of sucking on it, she still takes lots of "cat" naps, she has the cutest giggle, and she rolled over onto her back from her belly. She is so much fun and poses for the camera. She tried food for the first time and didn't quite like the cereal. She pretty much spit most of it out. She loves going to Daycare and sitting in the bouncer.

I have a 2 YEAR OLD!!!!!

Can Time please slow down!!! I can't believe Gage is 2!!! It really seems like not too long ago we were just bringing him home from the hospital. For his birthday he got a dump truck, loader, wooden guns, and a quiet book for church. He got a tricycle from Grandma and Grandpa Adams, and bath toys from Grandma and Grandpa Bleazard. He was pretty excited for everything he got and loved having everyone here for his birthday. For his Birthday cake Gage said he wanted a fish and I had no idea what to do. I found the idea of making a fish out of cupcakes. So I made fish cupcakes and put them in the shape of a fish. He loved it and I was pretty impressed with my skills. =)

At his 2 yr check up he weighed 21 lbs (he is in the 1percentile), 32 inches (6th percentile) and his head measured 19 which put him in the 38th percentile.  He is still small but has so much personality and hair!!!

 He talks a lot whether you can understand him or not, takes his shoes off by himself using the bottom of the chair in the dinning room and loves to jump off of everything.
