Baby Harding

I know it is about time I introduced our little one.  We are so excited to finally have a little one running around the house.  We have waited a very long time for this.  Baby Harding is expected to make it's debut on May 22 this year.  We are not going to find out the gender because I think it will be a neat and fun experience to wait.  Maybe on our next one we will find out the gender.
Our first picture of our little one.  We were so surprised to see it!  I had gone to the doctor and he said I was probably pregnant and I had to take acouple blood tests to prove I was pregnant.  So we didn't really believe we were until we saw our little one in its first ultrasound.
This is me at 10 weeks.  I get a lot of crap from people cuz I'm not really showing but I can tell it is there.  My pants just don't fit right anymore.

17 weeks along.  It sure is getting big!

Me at 20 weeks.

20 weeks

We had our 20 week ultrasound and tried really hard to get a good pic of our baby's face but it was too shy so we came back at 25 weeks and tried again.  Once again our baby was shy and would only give us a side profile.  Oh well our baby is healthy and very entertaining.  We have a video of it winking at us, smirking, and playing peek-a-boo.

Me at 25 weeks.  My belly is getting bigger and it seems like it grew over night.  It has been so much fun feeling the baby kick and Kyle finally got to feel it acouple weeks ago.  It sure loves to move around a lot.

Holidays

This year we spent Thanksgiving with Kyles family.  We went over on Thanksgiving day and had a great dinner at his moms house.  The food was super yummy.  Then a week later we got together with Kyles step siblings.  We had a great time.  It was really nice to see everyone and catch up.

For Christmas we went to my parents house.  It was SO COLD!!!  I had forgotten how cold it gets up there, but we still had a great time regardless.  We did miss my sister and her family being there.  On Sunday our family friends Melanie and Matt came to visit us from California and it was so good to see them.  We had a great time with them and was sad to see them go.

For Christmas Eve we had our awesome shrimp dinner.  It was so good I couldn't get enough!  Then the next morning we went over to my brother Jasons house and watched his kids open presents.  It was so fun to see them be surprised at what they got.  Cameron made me laugh cuz he got a coon hat and was terrified of it.  He didn't want anything to do with that.  Jason and Tracy cooked us breakfast which was very yummy.  Later that day Kyle and I headed for home and I was sad as always to leave my family.  I just don't see them enough.
For New Years we stayed home and had us another shrimp dinner and watched the ball drop.  We aren't very exciting during this holiday. =)
2012 had its up and downs but we are super excited for 2013 since our first child will be here in May. We can't wait!!!

Vegas

We decided to go to the NFR in Vegas and use that as our Christmas gift to eachother.  It was really good to get away.  The weather wasn't too bad either.  We went down Friday and got there before we could check into our room so we went and saw some of the sites.  I love the Bellegio and so we took off for there.  We walked around the conservatory and it was amazing!  The houses were made of wheaties and rice krispies. There was a train that went around the houses. They had polar bears made out of flowers and of course a Christmas tree.It was really neat.
The conservatory at Bellagio
Later that night we went to the show Absinthe.  It was pretty cool.  It was a circus kind of show and what was nice was there wasn't a bad seat in the house.  It was very up close and personal.
Us with Vegas in the background.  We also went to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor and then the to the Mob Experience at the Tropicana.  Both were pretty cool and fun.
The statue at Cesears all dressed up for the NFR.
We had a blast at the NFR.  Our seats were in the nose bleed section but it was still fun.  I would love to go to the Rodeo the whole week. I was amazed how fast they were at getting the next event going.  You never had to wait like you do at the small town Rodeos =)  This was one of the best weekeneds we had in Vegas and it was a nice way to end our trips to Vegas since we will be expecting our first child in May. Wahoo!

Backyard

Kyle worked really hard this summer and fall to get our backyard started.  We forgot to get a before pic but I don't think it really matters.

The finished product.  It looks awesome.  We can't wait to put grass in this year.

Kyle put in a sidewalk next to the house and put our names and the year we moved in.

Catch up time!

This summer instead of camping we spent alot of it either in Vegas at concerts or getting wood.Too bad it really was spent getting wood.  But we needed it and overall it was pretty fun tho.  We worked our butts off too.

Splitting time!  I have to admit I HATED this part.  I would rather haul the wood to the trailer instead of picking it up to hand to Kyle to split.
We also went to an airshow here and we ran into a friend I work with who owns his own plane and offered to take us up for a ride.  It was all I could do to keep Kyle from jumping up and down.  He LOVES anything about flying.  It was really nice of Wayne to take us up cuz you could go for a 15 min ride for like $20 each person and we went on a 2 hour ride for free.
Thats our house at the top.  It was really cool to fly over our neighborhood.
 Cedar Canyon.
We flew all the way down to Zions National Park and that was fun cuz we had just been there for our anniversary.  We also flew over Kolob Canyon which I had never been too.  Wayne was going to let Kyle fly and I said no and I wish I had said yes.  Kyle was pretty sad.  I was getting sick and not thinking clearly =)
We also went to Tuacahn and saw Thriller.  I have always wanted to go and never been able too.  A friend gave me 2 free tickets to go and so off we went.  Kyle didn't really want to go but since he is such a good guy he did.  We barely made it there in time since we had to do some shopping first.
This was Kyles excited face before the show.  I won't show the pic of his face after cuz he wasn't very happy.  There were so really cool dances but overall there were too many dances we didn't like.  I was just glad the tickets were free cuz he would have been really mad I dragged him down there.  I'm just glad to say I finally went.
 The stage at Thriller
We also made it to the Livestock Parade.  It was pretty cool seeing all the tractors and old cars and then the sheep at the end.  I was just thankful to not get ran over by the sheep.  This tractor was HUGE!  It had like 4 people running it.  After the parade we went over to the arena where our friend was competing in the dutch oven cook off.

We celebrated our birthdays and also Jaxsen and Keeta had their birthdays too.  Its sad to think they are getting so old.  We had a great summer and fall and I am looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with Kyles family and Christmas with mine.

5 Year Anniversary

We made it to 5 YEARS!!! We started planning our vaction a few months before and came up with the best ever plan.  We even bought a motorcycle for the trip to help cut the cost of gas.  We were going to the state of Wyoming!  In the past we have been to Arizona, California, and Nevada.  We planned to go to Yellowstone National Park for a few days, then over to the other side of Wyoming to Keyhole State Park.  From there we were going to go to Mount Rushmore and Sturgis.  Sturgis was actually having their rally too.  So we packed up the camp trailer, the dogs, and ourselves and headed off for our adventure.  We stopped at the cheese factory and Kyle smelled antifreeze.  Our trip had just ended.  We hurried over to a mechanic shop and they diagnosed our truck as having a blown head gasket.  We were totally bummed that our trip wasn't going to happen.  We even thought about getting our other truck and going but once we were told the cost to fix our new truck we couldn't afford to go on the trip anymore.  We had taken 10 days off and really looking forward to it.
We couldn't think of what to do.  We finally came up with an idea to go to Zions National Park since we haven't been there together before.  So we packed our backpack with water, the motorcycle with extra gas, and headed up over the mountain to the back side of Zions.

Us.  I know we look like dorks but I wanted to prove we wore our helmets

Me at the gas station telling Mom our plans
We stopped at the gas station in Todd's Junction
We stopped at the elk farm and I wish I could remember the name of the town.  We figured since we would have seen some cool animals in Wyoming we thought we would stop to see them here in Utah.
Buffalo.  These guys were right before you go into Zions.
We were waiting to be able to go into the tunnel. Patiently =)
 Zions
We went to the lodge and got some lunch and planned out our destinations.  Kyle wanted to go to the Emerald pools trail but you had to either go to the lower or the upper.  The trail that goes all the way thru was closed and since it was super hot and I was wearing jeans we chose to do just the lower emerald pools.
 Lower Emerald Pools
 Proof Kyle was there =)
We went to the weeping rock and road the shuttle all the way to the top by the Narrows and there was a storm coming in and since we were going to be lucky enough to be riding through it.  I was finally glad I wore pants and I brought a long sleeve shirt and not the best jacket.
The exit to the park through the tunnel.
I snapped a picture of us while driving.
We started for home and it started to sprinkle and then it stopped so we thought we were fine.  We stopped at Todd's Junction and put more layers on.  We drove to Duck Creek and it rained on us alittle bit.  We tried to call our friend to see if we could crash at his office until the weather got better but he didn't answer. So we took off.  We got to the top of the mountain and it looked like there was snow on the ground!  It was so cold! I really wish Kyle had pulled over so we could get a picture of it.  I guess it was cold enough that when the rain came through it turned into hail.  It was pretty funny that our "trip" was ending this way.  We caught up with the storm and it rained on us and we could not wait to get home and get in the hot tub!  We were so sore from riding the bike all day and so cold from the ride home.  This will for sure be an anniversary to remember.  Hopefully we will get to go to Wyoming some day.
Happy Anniversary Sweetie!!!

Family Reunion 2012

With all the fires this summer the place where we usually go was involved.  So Carrie being incharge of the reunion was looking for ideas.(Lucky her) Well my brothers found this camp ground up the Spanish Fork canyon and it was so much fun.  It was a really nice place with lots of trees and the only thing wrong with the place was it was SO HOT!!!!  One of the days we were there we packed up and drove into Provo and had some icecream and then went shopping to try and cool off.  It definately was kinda odd going to town and being so close to town but it was so nice to have some icecream.  Everyone was in a better mood.
One of the nights the kids put on a "talent show".
The group ready for the talent show
 Cameron showing off his skills
Rylee and Holly always write up a song and perform it.  It was really cute and good.
Rylee, Holly, Avery, Savanah singing another song
Me and the dogs enjoying the show

You can tell that Kyle was taking all the pictures since he isn't in any of them but he had a good time.  Brian had a nice camera there and took tons of pictures and I'm still waiting to get a copy of those.  I imagine I will be waiting a long time=)  We had a great time seeing everyone and hanging out.  The guys mostly played cards the entire time and I watched all the moms chase their kids around. My "kids" stayed by me so I didn't have to keep an eye on them much  I can't wait for next year except it will be my turn to be in charge.  Hopefully our usual camp site is ok and we can go back there.

Aladdin

For our "girl's" weekend we meaning Mom, Carrie, Holly, Savanah, Tracy, Rylee, Avery, Becca, and me went to Aladdin at Tuacahn.  We went down a day earlier and it was so nice because time didn't go by as fast.  We played in the pool, went shopping, took naps, and had a great time together.  We met up with our Aunt Faye and had pizza and then off to see the show.  I LOVED it.  I love the movie and loved the 3-D part too.  The genie was awesome.  I wish the genie was in the show more instead of at the end.  It was fun watching my mom and aunt Faye react to the 3-D part.  I always wish I took pictures but as always I didn't.  Before we went to the show we went to the visitor center at the St. George temple.  It was neat seeing the looks on my nieces faces when they saw the temple.  Over all we had a great time.  I can't wait for next year!
