1st Cereal Experience

We finally gave Gage cereal.  He wasn't so sure of it but ended up LOVING it.  He is such a good eater.  He really likes his oatmeal cereal mixed with prune juice.
He is so tiny compared to his chair. =)

Exersaucer

We got Gage an exersaucer because he is very curious.  He loves it!  It is so fun watching him explore and grab for his toys.

4 Months Old

My little boy is growing up so fast.  He is already 4 months old!  He has been such a blessing to us.   At his 4 month appointment he weighed 12 pounds 10 ounces which puts him in the 9th%.  He is 24 inches tall in the 17th%.  His head is 16 1/4 which is 24%.  He is getting bigger.  He has been boycotting naps in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon but usually gives in around night time for a quick nap before he goes to bed.  He has discovered his toes and loves putting them in his mouth.  When you put him on his back he instantly grabs his feet.  When he is on his tummy he rolls back to his back.  He really likes tummy time.  He loves to sit up but really enjoys standing.  He loves to stand and jump up and down.  This really makes him smile.  He is now grabbing at his toys and putting them in his mouth.  Anything that comes close to his mouth goes in.  Even if it is your fingers.  He constantly has his hand in his mouth.  It makes me wonder when his first tooth will come.  He drools a lot.  He tends to use his left hand a lot more than his right. Maybe he will be a lefty??  He tries to make his lips vibrate but only ends up spitting on you.  He gets a kick out of this.  He is very happy especially in the morning.  He still doesn't cry a lot which is really nice.  We love him so much!!!

First Hair Cut

Gage was blessed to have a ton of hair.  It was so cute at first because it would stand up on it's own.  It had since then gotten way long and doesn't stand up anymore.  So I called up my friend Adrian and we set a date to cute Gage's hair.  I didn't get any good before pics but here is a look at the side and back.  It was very shaggy.
The after pics

We weren't able to get it cut very well since Gage was so curious about everything going on but we did get it trimmed and I was able to save some in a bag.  Now it stands up when I style it. =)

Crib Time

I woke up one morning to this!

Needless to say it was time to move him to his crib.  I really enjoy having him next to me in his bassinet because I can hear him if he is awake.  But since he doesn't quite fit in the bassinet anymore and seems to be moving a lot more it is time.  He has been so good to sleep in his crib too.  It is rare that he doesn't go back to sleep.  The only problem is I had a hard time hearing him on the monitor.  So that has Kyle getting up with him more which most would say that is nice but it isn't fair.  We take turns every other night getting up with Gage.

3 Months Old!

Time is going by way too fast.  It just seems like I was pregnant and couldn't wait to meet our little one and now he is 3 months old.  It has been so fun watching him grow.  He loves to talk which sounds more like growling =)  If you do it back to him he gets even more excited!!  He loves being told he is cute and has discovered his hands and watches me or his dad walk by.  He has been sitting up and at his babysitters house he sits in a bumbo chair and plays with toys and just loves it.  He is such a happy little guy and we just love him to pieces!!  He doesn't really like to cuddle as much because he likes to be held so he can see the world.  He has always been very alert and likes to look around but now he has to look around.

Great Grandma Bleazard

While we were visiting my parents I really wanted to go see my grandma Bleazard and introduce her to my little boy Gage.  I'm so glad we did.  She was in a great mood and just wanted to hold Gage all day.  She kept saying how she wishes she could babysit him and I told her I would have loved it if she could.  Maybe a few years ago =)  I'm so glad that my grandma was able to meet Gage because all my other grandparents go to meet him before I did =)

His feet were cold and so she kept holding them to warm them up.  I was so proud of Gage that he was so good to let Grandma hold him and hang out.
He was so good up until he got really hungry.  I'm glad we got to go and see my grandma.  We just aren't sure how much longer we get to enjoy her.  She is 103!!

Week at Grandma B's House

I had taken the week off for mine and Kyle's wedding anniversary but he wasn't able to take the time off.  We went to my parents house for Gage's blessing and I planned on coming home that Monday so I could go to dinner with Kyle for our anniversary and then drive back either Tuesday or Wednesday.  My parents offered to drive me home so I decided to stay the whole week instead of going home and then back.
Gage and Kyle before Kyle left to come home.  I was really sad he was leaving because I wasn't planning on staying.  It was really hard on Kyle too to be away from his son for a week.
Gage in his crib that he had no desire to sleep in very much.  He had been sleeping through the night but for some reason his schedule was thrown off and he hardly slept at night.  Which made for longs days and a very tired mom.  Thank goodness my mom was so nice to take Gage in the mornings so I could go back to bed for a few hours.
My brother and sister in law were so kind to let us borrow their bouncer and swing.  I don't know what I would have done without these.  It was the only way Gage would take a nap.
Gage and his cousin Rylee.  She had the special touch and got him to sleep.
Gage and his cousin Cameron.  Cameron just wanted him to be big enough to play and he always wanted to pinch Gage's cheeks.  He would ask if when Gage wakes up if he could either hold him or pinch his cheeks =)
Gage and his grandma.  She definitely had the special touch.  She could get him to sleep all the time.
My brother also let us borrow a stroller.  Gage just looked to small to be in it =)
Getting ready to go to the fair.  The week we were home was also the county fair.  Every night they had something going on and we tried to go to everything.  Tuesday night was the hypnotist and my parents, Gage and I, Tracy and all her kids all went.  No one was volunteering to go up and the guy was threatening to cancel the show and so my mom actually went up.  She was hilarious!!!!  They thought they were on a plane and it was going to crash and none of them cared.  Then they were in Hawaii and she hula danced.  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!!  We wished we had bought the video for the rest of our family to see.  Maybe next time.  The next day we went to a clown show and he was pretty funny but it started to rain like crazy so he ended his show very early.  I was able to go to the demolition derby with my brother Jason and his family. We had a great time and I wished Kyle had been there to see what a real derby is like.  We also went to the rodeo on Saturday and that was a lot of fun too.  I was very thankful my mom was willing to watch Gage and that my sister in law Tracy let me tag along with her to all the events.

On Saturday we went to the petting zoo at the fair.  They had some very interesting animals there.  We also went to the parade and got rained on =)
Gage and his cousin Josh who can't wait for Gage to be old enough to play with.  Josh would run to Gage when they would come over for a visit.
We had a great time visiting with my family and as always I had a hard time leaving.  I got to see some of my friends from high school and it was really nice.  It sure made me miss home but I missed Kyle more.  My parents drove me home and stayed the night and then went back home.  I wished they could have been able to stay longer.
