25 and 30 Wks

I'm 25 weeks here and I had to give in and buy maternity pants and shirts since nothing fits anymore.  I was pretty sad about it but getting bigger hopefully means a healthy baby =)

 30 WEEKS!!!

I'm SO IN LOVE with that face!!! I can't believe I only have 10 weeks left until we meet this cute little baby of ours.  I really can't wait to find out if we will have a boy or girl. I have kinda wanted to know the gender this time but it is such a neat experience finding out after they are born that I couldn't do it. This pregnancy has been so different.  I was super sick the 1st trimester. After the 1st trimester I have been able to eat whatever I wanted.  Where with Gage the whole 2nd trimester I lived off of PB sandwiches.  The 3rd trimester hasn't been too bad.  I have been nauseated the whole time and some days are worse than others but it usually passes pretty quick. We hadn't gotten any good ultrasound pics of our baby this time and definitely didn't get as many ultrasounds so my friend Callie was nice enough to let us come in and try one more time for some pics.  We finally got some.  We got to see our baby's face for the first time and see if there would be any hair.  So far a little bit of hair so it won't be bald hopefully. We got to see hands and feet.  I'm so excited and Gage even seemed excited when he would see pictures up on the TV screen.  So let the count down begin!!!

Halloween!!

We took this super cute Skeleton trick or treating this year and he LOVED it!  Honestly what kid doesn't love getting candy? I couldn't decide what to have Gage dress up as and finally a few days before Halloween I got the idea of a skeleton.  He almost went as a shadow tho cuz I didn't get the bones cut out soon enough. I was pretty proud of myself tho cuz it turned out really cute.  I really thought there would be a lot of homemade costumes out there because of pinterest but there wasn't and I sort of felt bad for Gage but he didn't care and he looked so cute.  He got to go to Daycare for a few hours and show off his costume there and then when Kyle got home from work we headed to our ward Trunk or Treat.  Gage had a great time as long as he had candy in both hands.  He didn't care what kind or even if it had a wrapper on it. We also had chili and rolls there for dinner and it was pretty good.

After the trunk or treat we went to a carnival so Gage could see the firetruck.  He really loves firetrucks and pretty much any truck.  I think he had a great time and was pretty tired when we came home and went to bed.

I just LOVE this kid so much and glad he lets me dress him up.  I was worried he wouldn't like the costume and try to tear it apart since it was only glued on with hot glue.  Maybe our next kid can wear it next year.

17 Months Old

Time slow down!!! Gage now loves to sit on the kitchen table to eat, play with toys, sleep, and dance. I probably shouldn't let him up on the table but sometimes some battles aren't worth it. He loves it when the dogs chase him and it usually means he has food in his hands but he doesn't care.  He will chase them too but they loose interest pretty fast. He likes to have you put lotion on his hands and rubs it in his hands and up his arms.  He is very observant. Likes to eat candy corn and totally gets that from his dad. He also likes to eat apples cut up and cheap pizza =) He was a skeleton for Halloween, LOVES the TV show Bubble Guppies and says buba and points to the TV and wants to watch it.

The weekend of Halloween Gage finally pushed 2 upper molars through and was pretty miserable.  I put him in his chair, reclined it, and gave him his blanket to watch Bubble Guppies.  He seemed pretty content for awhile.  He had never had issues before with teething but these molars were horrible!!  It took him a few days to get over it.  If you looked at him wrong he would cry. If he fell down he would cry.  If you didn't pick him up fast enough he would cry.  I really hope all the other molars don't hurt him as bad cuz we don't wanna go through that again!!

16 Months

My handsome little guy is exploring so much!  He LOVES to go up and down stairs and does it really well and usually doesn't need any assistance. He throws himself on the floor if he doesn't get his way and we just ignore him or make him get up. He says Mmmmmm after every bite of food especially after Mac and cheese or even when he puts nonfood things in his mouth and pretends it was yummy. Says Ya to questions and means it. Says boon for balloon and guck for truck. Waves to vehicles as they drive by.  His favorite things to do are- Sprinkle dog food throughout the house for the dogs to eat, wrap his legs around your arms when changing his diaper, and riding the lawn mower with Dad. He has 2 more bottom teeth. Drinks from a straw, likes cheese quesadilla's, gives you five when you ask for it, and loves to dance. He spins, claps his hands, and stomps his feet when he dances.

Gage loves to get into the drawers in the bathroom and play with the tampons.  I'm hoping some day this pic will come in handy some day when I need a favor from the kid =)

Going outside to help dad work on the shed. Yes it was me mom who dressed him.

Eating spaghetti at daycare and LOVING it!! Plus he LOVES daycare.  He has cried when either Kyle or I come and pick him up.  I think he is pretty spoiled there.

He really likes to take pens and put them up his pants or draw all over himself with it too. He likes to sit in boxes, or the laundry basket, or his toy train.  I know I say it all the time but I wish time would slow down so I can spend more time with this cute little guy!!

Baby #2

I'm 15 weeks along in July.  At 17 weeks I could feel the baby kicking which was much earlier than Gage since I knew what I was feeling this time.  The 1st trimester I was sick a lot but didn't let anyone know I was pregnant.  I started to show much earlier this time and was surprised no one said anything. Everything is going great tho.

I'm 20 weeks along in the pic and we got to have an ultrasound and was going to find out the gender but a few hours before we went in we changed our minds and decided to not find out.  We had such a great time not knowing what Gage was we wanted to do it again. The 2nd trimester has been pretty good.  I'm not as sick but still have some days that aren't the best.  I get horrible leg cramps tho.

Our baby didn't want to show us his/her face just like Gage never did but sure has cute arms, hands, and an ear.  Can't wait to meet you in January!!

15 months old

Gage has been going to daycare at Brenda's for a couple months now and LOVES it.  He absolutely loves Brenda and all the kids there.  Most of the time he doesn't want to come home with me or Kyle. Which I'm glad he loves it there. He drags his monkey blanket everywhere he goes, squeals when he is happy, eats mainly meat and cheese, goes up and down stairs with assistance really well and waits for you to help him, climbs up the couch with help, dances, waves bye to everything but mainly vehicles, uses a fork and spoon to eat, a momma's boy =), answers Yes to questions and means it, knocks on the doors, points and says dog to the dogs, LOVES trucks, dogs, and balloons, sits on everything from toys to the dogs to me.

He loves to climb into the car and play with the steering wheel.

Opens the door to the shower and sticks his arms in to feel the water.

He loves to eat ranch and dips everything in ranch or fry sauce if given the opportunity.

We went to the Iron County Fair derby and had a great time. They even had trucks compete and they were the best event out of the whole thing.

We had our annual trip to Tuacahn and had a great time. Swimming in the pool, shopping, eating, and going to see The Wizard of Oz.  Gage sort of enjoyed the pool.  I definitely need to take him to the pool more often. The play was really good.  Gage went to the daycare they had there and it was super nice.  It was so hot outside since we went in August and the daycare was nice and cool.  They had a really nice system that if they needed you for anything they could get a hold of you. I got to see an old friend Stephanie and she looked great and it was so nice to catch up with her.  The play was great but it was a little long for me since I was missing Gage so much. Before the play the kids got their pictures taken and it was pretty funny that Gage was Dorthy.  Everyone there laughed when they saw him. The time went by way too fast as always and I can't wait for next time. Thank you mom for always taking us there.
